Our engineering workflow covers the complete lifecycle of BIW line development, from conceptual process design to commissioning and production ramp‑up.

     Core technical competencies include:

  • BIW process engineering, including process codification, sequence planning, line balancing, station layout development, and cycle‑time optimization
  • Design and manufacturing of high‑precision jigs, fixtures, checking tools, and EOATs (end‑of‑arm tooling) with attention to tolerance stack‑up and repeatability requirements
  • Development and integration of welding systems (resistance, MIG/MAG, laser), structural adhesive dispensing, clinching, riveting, and hybrid joining technologies
  • Engineering of part‑transfer systems such as automated conveyors, skid systems, lift‑and‑carry units, and robotic handling solutions
  • Hemming process engineering for closures, including tabletop, roller, and press hemming technologies
  • Robotic integration: welding robots, sealing robots, handling robots, offline programming (OLP), and simulation using standard industrial environments
  • Industrial automation engineering, including PLC programming, safety systems, SCADA, and network architecture for line‑wide controls
  • Quality assurance engineering: dimensional control plans, inline measurement strategies, fixture calibration protocols, error‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke), and system validation
