Electrified Monorail system

Electrified Monorail system

An Electric monorail system (EMS) is a rail-bound means of conveyance with individually driven vehicles which move independently on the rail system. Branch points can be implemented on the line with the aid of switch points. The vehicles are generally supplied with power and control signals via collector wires on the carrier rail. The actual rails themselves are attached either to the shop ceiling or-if this too high- to a suspended or column- supported steel structure.

These handling convetors have been applied and tested in a wide range of industrial applications. These transfer systems can be very useful and efficient for the quick and flexible movement of parts, in-process assemblies, as well as final products in production systems.

With the ever-increasing advancement of in-plant transmission technologies, electrified monorail systems have been or can be used in industries such as automotive, food, petrochemical, home appliances, and many others due to their unique advantages and capabilities.
According to the above, innovation in the fields of engineering, design and construction of these systems for various industries is being carried out with a high concentration in the companies that manufacture these types of transmission systems.

EMS Advantages

APQ Electric Monorail Systems (EMS) are highly flexible and intelligent transmission systems that are suitable for a variety of applications such as assembly, painting, testing and transmission. They are built by our engineers and experts so that our customers can always be confident and ensure that the items that need to be moved are always transported in the safest, quietest, cleanest and most efficient way possible.

In short, it can be said that the following features are some of the most important advantages of this type of intra-factory transfer systems.

  • They reduces costs because it requires low  maintenance
  •  Clean installation (oil free)
  • Simplified and modular conceptions
  • Suitable for long distance layout
  • Each trolley has its own logic and control
  • Continuous transport across multiple levels
  • Easy to implement
  • Low noise

APQ capabilities

In general APQ has the following capabilities in the field of EMS conveyors:

  • Load capacities up to 3000kg
  • Modular design
  • Customized carriers
  • Different fixed drop lifters
  • Track switches
  • Hanger design based on necessities

Although EMS systems generally have their own capabilities and advantages, but by combining these features with the capabilities of other systems, new and special applications can be defined for these systems and they can be used in required situations. Our engineers are able to take many initiatives and provide appropriate services to customers based on the their requirements and considering the project conditions.
